What is in store for the new year?
Lower interest rates? More housing inventory? Cost stabilization? Increased home builds?
We’re sending good energy out into the universe for the new year!
Let’s not talk about the alternatives just yet. We must stay positive this early in the game.
At A Renovating Realtor, we are excited for the new year.
The goal for 2025 is to help as many homeowners as we can learn how to gain more equity in their house. While the focus of our business has always been renovations first, now we are turning primary focus to real estate, offering buyers and sellers the opportunity to have one contact with everything they need to buy or sell a property.
In 2020, I got my real estate license because so many of my design and renovation clients needed my help in purchasing and selling properties. This allowed me to be full service. It was an amazing decision that I should have made earlier. Being enmeshed in the real estate world has helped me advise my renovating clients better. I now know first-hand what buyers are currently looking for in a house.
If someone asked, I might say that I am a renovator and a Realtor by trade. As a business owner, the truth is that I am an entrepreneur and process builder.
2024 put a jumbo spotlight on residential real estate and the way Realtors are compensated. I spent a lot of time in 2024 studying what the public was saying about Realtors. I’ve been working to build a process that I hope will address some of these concerns and create more integrity around our business. 2025 will be a test year for this method.
Here are the main goals for our real estate business in 2025:
- Create more online content to give an insight into the world of renovating and real estate.
- Establish a fair real estate pricing structure based on time and risk.
- Assist homeowners through flipping their own property so that they can realize greater gains.
- Offer valuable non-sales consultations to give un-bias real estate and updating advice to homeowners wanting to sell their property.
It should be an exciting year of change. My team and I hope to be able to assist as many homeowners and buyers as we can.
